Tilting Point and AN Games announce new Avatar: The Last Airbender game
Prominent publisher Tilting Point, in collaboration with strategic developer AN Games, has unveiled their joint venture to create a multiplayer strategy game set in the popular Nickelodeon franchise, Avatar: The Last Airbender. This creative endeavor is being undertaken with the official license from Paramount Consumer Products.
Within the game's immersive realm, players will have the opportunity to explore the expansive world of Avatar and collaborate to thwart the menacing Barbarian Death Cult. While the specific title and further intricate aspects of the game will be disclosed in the forthcoming months, gamers can anticipate an engaging experience.
Immersed in the virtual universe, players will assume the role of leaders, taking charge of constructing cities, skillfully managing resources, and assembling formidable armies to expand their dominion while also participating in tactical battles.
Kevin Segalla, CEO and founder of Tilting Point, expressed his personal connection to the franchise: "I watched every episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender with my kids as they grew up. Our fondness for the show was so deep that as they got older, our entire family had tattoos inked, each representing one of the four elemental symbols that resonated with our individual personalities. Nickelodeon and Paramount Consumer Products have crafted an extraordinary series, and with the combined efforts of Tilting Point and the mobile strategy experts at AN Games, we are enthusiastic about creating an equally extraordinary game."
The Mobile Nation Conquest
This forthcoming title marks another milestone in the ongoing collaboration among Tilting Point, Nickelodeon, and Paramount Consumer Products, following the success of previous releases like SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off and the eagerly anticipated SpongeBob Adventures: In a Jam!, currently open for pre-registration.
This announcement signifies another indicator of the franchise's reinvigoration. The global release of the RPG Avatar: Generations earlier this year and the introduction of the tabletop RPG Avatar Legends in 2022 are indicative of its resurgence. Notably, a live-action adaptation of the series is in the works for Netflix, set to premiere in 2024. Whether the upcoming game will be accessible via Netflix Games, a platform through which Tilting Point has already launched three titles, including SpongeBob: Get Cooking and Narcos: Cartel Wars, remains uncertain.
