AOFverse secures $3 million to advance its vision for Web3 gaming

Mobile gaming studio AOFverse has successfully raised $3 million in a private funding round led by Animoca Ventures, signaling a significant step towards expanding its presence in the emerging Web3 gaming sector. Based in London, the studio distinguishes itself by prioritizing features beyond gaming and emphasizes the importance of fostering meaningful social connections within gaming communities, viewing it as pivotal for driving the widespread adoption of Web3 technology.

The infusion of capital from this funding round will accelerate the implementation of AOFverse's roadmap initiatives, underlining the studio's commitment to enhancing the gaming experience and nurturing a vibrant community aligned with the vision of integrating Web3 into modern gaming.

At the core of the AOFverse ecosystem is a robust player community and a dynamic token-driven network, which serve as fundamental components supporting the platform. These incentives recognize players for their active engagement in the game and incentivize them to invite others to join the platform.

Bolstered by a previous grant from The Arbitrum Foundation, this funding round underscores the studio's consistent growth trajectory. Notably, the imminent global launch of their PvP game, Army Of Tactics, has already amassed over 1 million downloads since its soft launch in October 2023.

Looking ahead, AOFverse is poised to strengthen its foothold in the industry with the anticipated release of its flagship game, Army Of Fortune, later this year. The private funding round received support from prominent investors including Liquid X Ventures, Chainridge VC, Ticker Capital, Flying Falcon, and BSCN Gaming Ventures.
