Toca Boca, the popular Swedish developer behind the children's game series Toca Life World, has announced an exciting partnership with Paramount Consumer Products and Nickelodeon. This collaboration will bring the beloved SpongeBob SquarePants universe to Toca Life World.

The partnership will kick off on June 13 with the launch of a limited-time SpongeBob SquarePants furniture pack. This pack will include 87 unique furniture pieces inspired by SpongeBob, Squidward, and Patrick, allowing players to create their own Bikini Bottom within the game.

In addition, Toca Life World will host a gift event from June 13 to June 18, offering players new outfits, items, and pets related to SpongeBob SquarePants.

According to Toca Boca senior brand manager Alexandra Svärdh, this partnership aims to empower kids to become creators rather than just consumers. By providing tools to design their own Bikini Bottom filled with humor and free from limitations, Toca Boca aims to engage young players in an immersive and imaginative experience.

Since its premiere in 1999, SpongeBob SquarePants has become an iconic IP known worldwide, spanning films, spin-off series, games, and even a Broadway musical. Toca Boca sees the opportunity to leverage the franchise's popularity to attract new players to Toca Life World.

Toca Boca's head of product, Mathila Engman, believes that this content collaboration truly captures the essence of both brands. It allows children to blend SpongeBob's humor with the playful world of Toca Boca, offering a unique and enjoyable experience.
